Why are Spanish Children’s Stories an Important Part of the Learning Process?

Una vaca que se acuesta a comer - page from FabuLingua story - white ipad

When we teach through stories, learners are able to make use of context, as well as connect to the content on a deeper, more emotional level.  The result is that retention is much higher than through traditional teaching techniques (like grammar drilling or rote memorization of vocabulary sets).

In addition, learning Spanish through interactive children’s stories suits a wider and more diverse set of learners - including visual, auditory, and even kinesthetic learners!

Our Interactive Short Stories for Kids in Spanish

FabuLingua’s stories are strategically located in locations across FabuLingua island.  The locations contain characters that share stories when you tap them. The locations, numbered 1- 5, contain increasingly challenging stories so that as the child progresses through the game and learns more Spanish they will be met with bigger challenges to deepen their learning!

Kids can always go back to earlier locations and do more modes and games in the easier stories to prep them for the harder locations.

Scroll down this page to find descriptions and trailers of FabuLingua’s interactive Spanish stories for kids!  You’ll find each character’s story beneath the location where they live.
